We have added many articles on this website for birth control options. Today, we have another good article about Contraceptive foam. Read full details on what is contraceptive Foam? I have been adding quality articles from top authors on birth control subject. Today one more article from Aigars S Garza.

Many couples take some time to arrive at the best form of birth control they should adopt. The reason is that they do not have sufficient knowledge about all the options available. A lot of people are shocked when they do get pregnant even though they have adopted some form of birth control or the other. This is because no birth control method is completely safe. Barrier methods are particularly unsafe because there is always the chance that they have been used in the wrong manner. Many couples therefore prefer to use more than one method of birth control simultaneously. Contraceptive foam is a great option for people who want a greater sense of security while making love.

Contraceptive foam is a kind of spermicidal foam that has to be inserted into the vagina before the sexual act. It serves the same kind of purpose as a diaphragm. When used by itself it cannot offer complete protection against pregnancy because there is always the chance that a stray sperm cell can avoid the foam. It is also possible that the woman has applied it wrongly. It is very unlikely that couples use contraceptive foam as their main method of birth control because it is very cumbersome to apply in addition to being risky.

The effect of the contraceptive foam does not last longer than 30 minutes. This makes it a very bad choice of birth control if the couple usually likes to have sex more than once in a particular session. It usually comes in a pressurized container along with a plastic applicator. The biggest problem that couples experience with this method of birth control is that it removes a lot of the spontaneity and romance of love making. Many women consider this to be a very messy method because the foam eventually leaks out of the vagina gradually.

Contraceptive foam is however the best method to use in case a couple requires added protection. A woman who has gone off the pill in order to try for a baby can use this method of birth control until her menstrual cycles have regularized. She can also use this foam when she first starts the contraceptive pill or is newly implanted with an intra-uterine device. These methods take some time to become completely effective and the foam can be used to ensure that there is no chance of pregnancy. The same applies to women who have just been fitted with a contraceptive implant or who have been administered a contraceptive injection.

Apart from helping to increase the effectiveness of other birth control methods, this foam can also be used as a method of reducing the risk of infection. It sometimes also doubles as a lubricant. Even though contraceptive foam has many drawbacks it still provides plenty of advantages that make it very popular with couples who require the added protection it offers. It is therefore very common for couples to keep a can or two of this foam in their bedside drawer.

over the world.

Pro Choice Quotes

“No woman can call herself free who does not own and control her body. No woman can call herself free until she can choose consciously whether she will or will not be a mother.” Margaret Sanger

“Faced with a choice between the law and our lives, we will choose our lives.” “Jane” From Abortion to Reproductive Freedom

“What is this ban on abortion? It is a survival of the veiled face, of the barred window and the locked door, burning, branding, mutilation, stoning, of all the grip of ownership and superstition come down on woman, thousands of years ago.” – Stella Browne, socialist, feminist who campaigned for the right to abortion and contraception during the first half of the 20th century.

“The Pope Is Fallible, The Planet Is Fillable, Promote Birth Control” (bumper sticker)

“For many people, morality means a set of rules governing the disposition on one’s genital organs; or a set of injunctions against lying, stealing, or killing except when such acts are sanctioned by church or state.” – Marilyn French from “Beyond Power” pg 16

“When you peel back the layers of the anti-choice motivation, it always comes back to two things: What is the nature and purpose of human sexuality? And second, what is the role of women in the world?” Sex and the role of women are inextricably linked, because “if you can separate sex from procreation, you have given women the ability to participate in society on an equal basis with men.” Gloria Feldt, the former president of Planned Parenthood

Birth Control Safety allows us to prevent pregnancy and plan the timing of pregnancy in a efficient manner. type of birth control gives you wide variety of birth control options to prevent unwanted pregnancy. Talking to your doctor will be the first step towards exploring best birth control option for you.

No matter what birth control option one takes none of the available options are 100 percent safe. The question is why couples opt for birth control options. One is to avoid pregnancy if you are not looking to become mother.
This could be due to various reasons. You may be young and not ready. Just started job and you want to stabilize your career first. You want to test your partner before getting into a major lifetime commitment. Secondly to protect either partner from sexually transmitted diseases. Either way there is good strong reason to use birth control options.

Types of Birth Control Options

There are number of options by which risk of pregnancy can be minimized and same time ensures that you have pleasure from sex without worrying about getting pregnant. The options range from pills, condoms, cervical caps, contraceptive sponges etc. For some of the methods explained above you need to visit doctor’s office to have them fitted.

Condoms are widely available and are not that expensive. Condom can be used by both men and women. However condom used by men is most effective. Still there is no 100 percent guaranty. Condoms do minimize risk of STD diseases to both partners.

Another option is pill which is popular among women world. In order for pill to work one has to take daily. All it does is to stop releasing egg by ovaries. Your doctor will be in better position to advice you what birth control option is right for you.

The other options are vaginal contraceptive ring, hormone shots etc. Both of these options are not that popular with women. In any case your doctor is best person to advice you for birth control option. Bear in mind some of the options mentioned here have side effects such as nausea, headache, back pain, blood pressure, weight gain etc. These symptoms are mostly with pills. Some women experience irritation or allergies with contraceptive rings or cervical caps.

Read more articles and information on birth control types and share your concerns with your doctor. Remember your doctor is best person to advice.

There has been lot of debate over Pro-Life OR Pro-Choice in public, media, offices, ball game and at parties. Discussion has been endless and confronting. There is no end to it. Let’s see article from Sean Davis on Pro-Life / Pro-Choice.

Abortions have grown to be one of the most controversial topics in America, today. If you were to ask the average person to choose their stance, most would say either pro-life or pro-choice within a few seconds. However, abortions seem to be ignored until the question of ethics is asked of you or you are faced with a dilemma yourself. It is best to know where you stand before you have to answer the question or make the decision.

The typical argument of a person that is pro-life is that the baby is a human being with rights from the moment it is conceived. Therefore, an abortion is an act of taking life away… murder. Personally, I agree with this view and do not think abortions are the right choice for an expecting mother. Although it may be hard, there are other options you may choose so as to avoid hardship once the baby is born. The baby deserves a chance at life, even though you don’t exactly know how you will care for the baby.

Contrarily, a person who is pro-choice would typically argue that there are instances where an abortion may be justified. First, let me rule out the idea that abortion may be used as a form of birth control for the irresponsible. In no way, shape or form is abortion a “fix” for what one may consider a problem or mistake born out of thoughtless actions. To best avoid becoming pregnant at an undesirable time, practice safe sex or abstinence.

With that out of the way, there are times where an abortion should be an option, in my opinion. The most talked about case would be in the event of a rape. Unfortunately, sex is not always consensual. When a woman is raped, her life is changed forever. She may not recover from such a tragic event. If she becomes pregnant from the rape, she will have to face that memory every time she looks at her child, assuming she gives birth to the baby. This can be an extremely difficult thing to do. Abortion may be an option in this unfortunate case.

Another time where abortions may be justified is when a man and a woman are married but the woman has been diagnosed with an illness that can kill her in the event of a pregnancy. Of course, with this knowledge, they should plan to avoid pregnancy. However, no contraceptive is 100% effective. I would argue that you can’t expect the married couple to avoid sex. Therefore, there is always a chance that she will become pregnant. To add to the scenario, imagine the couple had two children already, both under the age of seven. If the mother had to choose between death, leaving her family behind, and abortion, which one should she choose?

When you ask, “Pro-life or Pro-choice?”, it is not hard to pick a side and run with it. However, life is not always that simple. Give this choice some thought now before it actually enters your life. The topic is known for stirring up strong emotions that can cause a person to make a decision in the heat of the moment. Be sure that you have given it some thought before you make the decision yourself, or influence someone who has to pick a side quickly.

So, all in all, is it black and white or are there a few gray areas?
