Advantages

Another effect is reducing the iron deficiency. They reduce the blood loss during the menstrual cycle and thus helping with the anemia.

They also reduce the risk of ovarian cysts and also protect against pelvic inflammatory diseases. Some of the pills can even improve acne and also improve the fibrocystic breast’s cysts.

Also, for some people that have excess hair these pills can improve their condition. Some studies have also shown that birth control pills can prevent osteoporosis and they provide long term safety.

Disadvantages

40% of women using these pills have experienced some effects in the first three months of usage.

There are chances that birth control pills can contribute to heart attacks are bigger if you smoke. They can also cause migraines and increase the blood pressure. Some pills will also create blood clots obesity, headaches, depression, nausea and also vomiting.
